FIRST EXPERIANCE AT THE YOUTH CAFE'

HEY , first experiance at Youth Cafe' was fun , stepped in an felt welcome immediately . I enjoy spending every moment @youth cafe' ,wouldn't miss it for the world the session's are amazing at all times and always having fun . Loving the environment , and always having awesome laughs . First experiance at the youth cafe' was SUPER GREAT !!!

My journey at Youth Cafe

My life at Youth Cafe is fun and exciting .I started at Youth Cafe like Three weeks ago .My first day at the Youth Cafe was the best because I did not know anyone at the Cafe but then I got to know the other members of the Youth Cafe .The vibe that you experience in the morning when you walk pass the door is like your second house because everyone at the Youth Cafe is like a family.
What I also like of the Youth Cafe is the way it looks from the inside because it is decorated with colorful walls and paintings that will attract anyone as they pass the door.The way they let it looks on the inside you will feel like you will never want to get out of the Youth Cafe .

There is lots of things that a young person would like at the Youth Cafe because at the Youth Cafe they will learn you how to earn as a  young person .When we go to lessons at the Cafe we earn points [Zlato] so that we can buy us our needs and wants.What I like is the Digital Session that is my favorite because when I came at the Youth Cafe I did not know how to use a Laptop but now I can at least log in on Blogger and text my journey at Youth Cafe on the Internet .Youth Cafe is really the place to be for any Youth so they can understand where they  came from and that there is still hope at Youth Cafe with the dreams you have because no dream is to big.

When I leave the Youth Cafe I want to help other Youth who is struggling in my community and other areas with poverty and other issues they  fight with in there every day lives with the skill that I developed at the Youth Cafe.

Team building

Ever since i started attending the youth cafe,i found out that when ever i start with the team building session i enjoy myself.

The reason why i enjoy myself is because we are divided into groups and work as one team.We work as one team and communicate very well with each other.We have to work together to make a success,like in building something like a bridge,or something like creating something new totally out of this world,like an android app.

I enjoy myself with the team building session because i developed i few skills that i did not even know i had.

Thee Youth Cafe

My name is Aqeel Jansen aged at 17 years old.On the 24th of February I started to join the Youth cafe,although it was my first day at the cafe,they welcomed me with open arms.Before I was at the youth cafe i was still at school,but since I've failed for my first time in grade 11,i felt useless.I made sure everyday that i should come late at school so that i can go again home.  

I started my first class on Wednesday at 10:30,at first i was nervous and shy because it was all new faces that i saw but later on in the day met everyone properly.The tutors at the cafe are very friendly,and the vibe at the cafe is very excellent because everybody communicates very well with each other.I met a lot of new friends and people that come from a variety of places.

What i expect from the youth cafe is to become a successful entrepreneur and build up my leadership skills so that i can set an example to other young youths in all community's.The reason why i started attending the youth cafe is because i have set a few goals that i want to achieve,and i did not want to attend school anymore.The reason why i didn't want to attend school anymore because at school every week i got suspended,and my parents had to be at school.

I left school to make a change in life and achieve my goals that i have set.I want to have an excellent future ahead of myself.

My life at the Youth Cafe

Hi my name is Ashton Van Der Vent.When my school send me to the youth cafe,I was like No why much i go there....The  next day i went to the cafe and it was one of the best day of my school life i had so much fun and i learn so much things.One thing that i never liked is to talk when am with a lot people but when i start at the youth cafe i starter talking to a lot of people everyday.And one thing the youth cafe learned  me is to not give up on goals.And today im a week at the youth cafe and im very happy at the cafe.

YOUTH CAFE

Ever since i joined the youth cafe I feel very excited to wake up every morning to come to the cafe.

The people at the youth cafe is very friendly.The vibe at the cafe is very happy and exciting you look forward to go to the sessions because you do fun things in the sessions such as your five year plan.You also earn points as you learn they help you get job opportunities you learn to communicate with people.

As for myself the youth cafe is actually awesome and I'm seeing forward to the rest of the year.

The first time i done a digital session it was hoja and showed me how i could advertise my ideas and it really helped me get things out there i did social networking digital sessions and that was real cool it showed me how to use social networking in a whole new way,then came word press the high light of digital sessions it was so cool!i crated my own web sight on word press with the guidance of the facilitators and it was epic,now im the host to my own link OMG digital sessions are so tech savy cool its just pure awesomeness

 

Creative Cafe

All the session we had was amazing but I really ,like really love the creative session. we had loads of sessions to do like road maping ,blogger etc .all the creative session we have  helps us with things we need for the future , like the goals we have to achieve and it helps us with what we need in life. It prepares  us for what life throw at us.And it teach us how to control our lives.

Creating Digital

Two of my most exciting sessions are Creative and Digital.It has taught me how to express my ideas and interpret it in a digitized way.With the Creative session I can design what I am thinking and then lay down my ideas on the internet via Blogging or Facebook.It creates new opportunities to move forward in life and be inspirational towards yourself and others.I have adapted to the concept of using a computer or laptop and became familiar with the technological way of doing things.I progress everyday that I am here(learning how to implement what I'm doing here at home).

MY FAVOURITE SESSION IS DIGITAL,BECAUSE IT TEACHES ME THINGS ABOUT TECHNOLOGY THAT I NEVER KNEW ABOUT.IT TEACHES ME HOW I CAN USE TECHNOLOGY TO MY ADVANTAGE AND HOW TO USE IT BY CREATING MY OWN THINGS ONLINE.I KNEW NOTHING ABOUT TECHNOLOGY ONLY HOW TO PUT IT ON AND OFF AND HOW TO DOWNLOAD.AT THE YOUTH CAFE I WAS TAUGHT HOW TO CREATE MY OWN POSTS,HOW TO DRAW UP FORMS,GOT A GMAIL ACCOUNT AND LEARNT THE DIFFERENT SYMBOLS OF THE APPS ETC.BEING AT THE YOUTH CAFE HAS BUILT UP MY CONFIDENCE ABOUT USING TECHNOLOGY AND USING IT TO MY SUCCESS.

I WAS ALSO TAUGHT THAT EDUCATION IS KEY TO SUCCESS,BECAUSE IF YOU ARE NOT TAUGHT THINGS  AND LEARN BY IT HOW WILL YOU SUCCEED IN LIFE.I AM STILL LEARNING ABOUT THE DIGITAL WORLD DAY BY DAY.I ALWAYS GET NERVOUS WHENEVER IM INFRONT OF A COMPUTER BECAUSE IM SO AFRAID ILL BREAK IT.

AT HOME I AM COMFORTABLE WITH MY TECHNOLOGY BUT IN CLASS AT THE YOUTH CAFE I AM NERVOUS TO PRESS A BUTTON,BECAUSE IM SO AFRAID ILL MESS UP BIG TIME.THE FACILITATOR IS VERY UNDERSTANDING AND MAKES YOU FEEL COMFORTABLE.AT THE YOUTH CAFE I LEARN NEW THINGS EVERYDAY IN EVERY SESSION.

IN THE DIGITAL SESSION TARYN,WHO IS OUR DIGITAL FACILITATOR TEACHES US DIFFERENT WAYS OF HOW TO USE TECHNOLOGY AND ITS VERY EXCITING AND NERVWRECKING.

BEING HERE AT THE YOUTH CAFE HAS BETTERD MY SKILLS AND I HAVE IMPLEMENTED IT AT HOME.

BEING AT THE YOUTH CAFE HAS BEEN LIFE CHANGING.CANNOT WAIT TO LEARN MORE.

For the past two years @ youthcafe i have had quite the chance to meet new people and had a good learning experience from attending most of the educational sessions that takes place each day iv done three workshops,social innovation,first aid,and leadership,that kinda gave a little knowledge and understanding,@yothcafe the energy is young pure and really cool to be in,the facilitators of the sessions are quite skilled in the fields  they are teaching and thats so cool,the staff members are kind polite well groomed and highly social which is a good thing,so yeh the vibe is real cool @youthcafe and i am dash/zafe its a privilege being part of the familia.

(My favorite sessions at the Youth Cafe is Job Readiness And Digital.)

Why those to sessions is because the facilitators that facilitate those two sessions are the best.

Job Readiness is facilitated by Edson (One the managers of the Youth Cafe). 

Job Readiness is all about getting us Zafes at the Youth Cafe ready for the work force. Like making a proper CV and getting us ready for being interviewed. But Edson does not just teach us that. He teachers us how to be confidants in our self and how to stay positive no matter what circumstance you in and that why Job Readiness is one of my favorites

Digital is facilitated by Taryn

Digital is all about teaching us Zafes at the Youth Cafe about Google and how to use the Google apps to its fullest functions. I use google alot and there is so much things I did not know about Google and its apps. Thats why Digital is one of my favorite.

Youth cafe experience

My first day at youth cafe i was so excitement  cause what  knew was that it would be  the  last time i mixed myself wrong souls.the time i was at youth cafe I experienced the most family love and as a person who has a bad background.although i had a support at home  that I was given .the youth cafe experience gave that motivation to express myself and how will I succeed in life.

The youth cafe made me see things different things that I thought they where cool to me different now i can make something out of my life changing my mindset,changing my life is difficult.The youth cafe made me realize that when you want something be hungry for success doesn't come as an plate of lunch.

   
My life is changing from darkness to brightness it make me be a better person in life.if wasn't  for the youth cafe i would be out there looking for bad influence that i was mixing myself with those bad influences in life.

my first experience at the youth cafe

when i first came to the youth cafe i had questions on my mind, questions like what kind of place is this?,how will this place benefit me?,and etc,then i entered inside the Youth Cafe with those questions and one of the facilitators in the Youth Cafe came to me.

 He assisted me and told me what the place is about and how would this place help.To me it was like i am entering heaven because all my questions where being answered with out me asking anything,they told me everything that i needed to no,and i became interested, because i was about to learn new things that i was never thought at school.

The facilitators welcomed me and judged me,so that is  why i keep on coming to the Youth Cafe to learn more things and meet new people.so i love the Youth Cafe and everyone that enters it .

my favorite sessions at the youth cafe....                                                                                                                                     I love the leadership and entrepreneur sessions the most.I see myself as a leader and very much business minded.                                                                                                                                                                                    I mostly enjoy the entrepreneur sessions.It helps grow my mind, filling my head with new ways to become a successful business woman.In these sessions, I have learnt how to be creative and be  open to new and  different ideas. Personally, the most important thing I have learnt or phrase that I intend to implement in my life, is not to work harder,but to work smarter.

The leadership sessions I have to enjoy. It teaches me how to be self-empowered,self-motivated,to have no limits,to reach to for my  goals and for what I want to change in my life, to have a better future.                                          
                                       
I enjoy each session.I learn,I laugh and through every session,I learn a lesson and I am getting closer to my brighter future.

My favorite sessions at the cafe are DIGITAL LEADERSHIP COMMUNICATION.

DIGITAL is were I'm working on the laptops and how to create your own websites and create your own accounts.

LEADERSHIP is how the facilitators prepare you for the outside world and on how to be prepared for interviews

The first day I came to the youth cafe.

The first day I came to the youth cafe it was like new to me. I didn't know what to expect because it looked like a place where students and old people hang out or thats what I thought of the place. But coming to the youth cafe I realized that its a place for the youth to learn things they diddn't know like myself for example.

Before I came to the Youth Cafe I was a bad person in my community. I sold drugs for gangsters and had bad friends and I was disrespectful to anyone that wanted to tell me what im doing is wrong and I thought what I was doing was the right way in life.

One day my father came to my grandmas house and told me about RLABS and that I should apply for a course that im good at doing.

The next day I went to RLABS H.Q and spoke to Marlon Parker. He explained to me that I came to late to apply for a course at RLABS but I could attend the Youth Cafe which is something similar to RLABS and that I could learn new things their. He (Marlon Parker) signed me up to the ZLTO system and told me that I should go check the place out. I went to the Youth Cafe for the first time and it looked awesome like a hang out joint but with learning vibe to it.

Im now one of the longest zafes here at the Youth Cafe and its the best choice I could have made in my life.


So I would recommend other youth in the area to come join the Youth Cafe because it changed me alot so it would change the youth alot in a positive way.

MY EXPERIENCE AT THE YOUTH CAFE HAS BEEN INSPIRATIONAL BECAUSE THIS PLACE HAS TAUGHT ME NEW THINGS.THE YOUTH CAFE HAS TAUGHT ME TO BE CONFIDENT AND IT HAS BUILT UP MY SELF ESTEEM.THE CAFE HAS BEEN LIKE A SECOND HOME TO ME EVEN THOUGH I HAVE ONLY BEEN HERE FOR 2 WEEKS,THE PEOPLE ARE HYPER AND FRIENDLY AND THEY MOTIVATE YOU TO DO MORE AND TO STRIVE FOR BETTER IN LIFE.

the day i came to the youth cafe i was actually very shy to talk to people and when they introduced us to the youth cafe members it was super amazing i really enjoyed it 

I was a very negative person and when i attended the youth cafe they spoke to us and they told us never put your self down always think good about yourself because if you going to think negative about yourself you never gonna reach the goals you want to be in life c

The youth cafe really helped me so much.that it brings me out of my comfort zone bring me to what i want to become in life one day.learning things i never new to become successful in life.the environment in the youth cafe its really amazing the fun we have the things we do the work we learn its super amazing,he youth cafe members are really amazing

And the fact that i came to the youth cafe is to be more successful in life.and everybody communicates with one author.and it is a new begging in life.and there,s so much opportunities at the youth cafe.and the things i love to do at the youth cafe is entrepreneurship.and leadership and i would love to learn about the digital

The activities given at the Youth Cafe brought me out of my bad habits of being on my own and not caring about what goes on in life,being self-centered and lazy.I became familiar with things I didn't know about.Every morning i wake up excited to be here just to learn new things,gain knowledge and meet new people.Everything is just so intriguing.I've always had a negative attitude towards myself but ever since I've been coming here my whole life has changed my self-confidence has been boosted and I now have a POSITIVE attitude towards myself.I can't wait to see wait the rest of the year has in store for me.YEAH ;)

Journey At The Youth Cafe

The first time i came in the cafe, i took a nice picture of it and posted it.

The cafe is the truth, they are inviting people to learn and to strive for success through knowledge.

The cafe is helping the youth to learn how to communicate with one another . 

I am learning how to come out of my comfort zone and they help me to believe in myself.

I felt like i can always end my days with positive thoughts, no matter how hard things may seem, tomorrows a fresh opportunity to make things better. Cafe learned me that i must not believe that almighty will do what i want, it is the believe that almighty will do what he think is right. My journey so far at the Youth Cafe has been good. Everyday Im learning new things and meeting new people whom I've become friends with.Youth Cafe has become family to me cause its different to the environment i have going on at home and the friends I have here as well.

Everyday when i get home from the Youth Cafe I'd always have stories to tell my friends and family.I would tell them about how my day had been and all the activities that took part in our sessions.Learning about new things like Entrepreneurship and leadership Skills these are the kind of things that interest me cause its things i never knew before.I now have somethings to look forward to each and every morning when i wake up and thats walking in the doors at the Youth Cafe where Hope and Opportunities are awaiting for myself and many others.Im looking forward to whats install for the rest of the year here at the Youth Cafe.

Bright walls

Hey guys my name is Ziyaad and this is my blog of my first thoughts about the youth cafe.It was a bright one with many thoughts running through my head...perhaps maybe some misconceptions as well.

Everything was so bright and welcoming,however my thoughts were not as bright,A person by default is always afraid of new things whether it be good or bad,success or failure.My thoughts and perceptions were changed by the great atmosphere of the youth cafe,the facilitators were kind and welcoming...i could see that no one thought of themself as above nor below others.It was and is a new beginning for all...a new year with new things to look forward to.

I myself am looking forward to the rest of this year and what it has install for me,

Thoughts Of A Zafes Member.

The first time i walked into the youth cafe i found myself surrounded by people looking to change people for the better. The environment of the youth cafe looked as if it was meant to catch the attention of young minds and make them feel as comfortable as can be. All the youth cafe members looked as if they did not have a shroud of doubt that they were making a difference in the lives of the Zafes members.

The very fact that every person is allowed to be themselves and communicate with each other every day, trying harder and harder to come to terms with the personal situations as to why they are here and after every session they can go home and feel good about themselves. The very essence of being at youth cafe and being a Zafes member is to uplift your way of thinking and improve your mind.

The Greatest Man Who Ever Lived went by the name of Muhamahd S.A.W once said "Seek Knowledge From The Cradle To The Grave" and here at the Youth Cafe I have the opportunity to do just that.
